Nyonya Food - Simplified

The Buah Keluak Paste was tasty. Never of my family ate so happy. They mentioned that the dish taste like restaurants style.

I bought the buak keluak paste with curiosity to see how it matches what i had tasted in my.memory. Not just is it easy to use, it surprises me with its warm, mellow, nutty flavour when the paste was stirred to fry the chicken wings i had bought. The fragrance was at once discernible and simply so satisfiying to the palate! I gifted some of my share to my sister whose grandson gave the thumbs up. Her family including my grown nephew loved it. What is most worthy of note is that it wasnt so sour and bitter as the one i had eaten at a reputable peranakan eating place in Hougang. My true-blue Peranakan aunt used to give us some of her ayam buah keluak when she was still alive. To me, top mark goes to the complex taste which was capably replicated in the Nyonyalite paste. Most importantly, it makes this hard to replicate dish easily available to satisfy one's cravings for a home cooked taste that is almost effortless, even by a helper who does not have an inkling what ayam buah keluak taste like. Thank you so much, Justin, for making it affordable for me to buy one paste at a time!

Another great paste from nyonya lite. Just add in Chinese mushroom and some potatoes.

To enhance this marvellous paste, I added more buah keluak flesh & lime leaves. My nyonya mother-in-law gave a thumbs up

A delicacy made fuss free! The paste was more on a sweeter side and chilli powder is recommended if u prefer a spicier punch. The taste is flavorful and can be comparable to a restaurant’s standard. Highly recommended!

Bought this curry paste twice. Love the taste although it can be a bit more spicy to bring out the flavour. It is not oily and mild enough for people or children who do not like spicy curry.

The paste is easy to use minus the hassle of having the pound the different types of herbs. It tastes like the original Buah Keluak that my grandma makes.

Seriously so easy to cook . Just open the packet add chicken and you are done

As I am a Eurasian, I was a bit hesitant on whether the paste would taste authentic!

Must to my surprise, the taste was very good. The taste was similar to how how I prepared the the ingredients the long way.

I cooked it for my family of 4 and used 2 packets and a whole chicken (keeping leftovers for later). Thank you for making my cooking sessions delightful and stress free.
