Mee Siam Paste

Wow this is good! I tried to use 1/3 of the paste to do the gravy. Boiled the prawn shells n heads, added a little tamarind juice and it turned out well.
The paste is so convenient and taste is authentic. The recipe has the perfect formula!

Mee Siam

Very authenthic taste. As I prefer a stronger flavour I used 2 packets for the stipulated amount of Bee Hoon and found it just right. With a dollop of Kwong Cheong Thye brand Nasi lemak Chilli sause -- perfect!

Fantastic as a marinade

I used the mee siam paste to marinate chicken pieces and put them in the oven covered. Removed foil the last 20 minutes for a good 'bakar' effect. Chicken and the sauce was delicious!

One bowl is not enough!

Relive My Happy Memory of Nyonya Cuisine

I was delighted to stumble on Nyonyalite Buah Keluak on FB. Normally I m quite reluctant to buy things on FB but I m so glad that I gave it a try. It is such an easy and simple recipe! With two stalks of lemongrass and some lemon leaves, I was able to recreate an authentic nyonya dish within 30 min. Super yummy and fulfilling!

Cooking was easy and the taste is as authentic as my grandma’s cooking. Price is a little steep but worth it for the entire family to enjoy.

Nyonyalite Curry Paste
