The best mee siam paste I have tried so far. I have tried many brands of Nonya mee siam paste but none tasted as authentic as this one which reminds me of my Grandma's (also a peranakan) version. Instead of water I added prawn stock and it really tasted good. Dont take my word for it. Tried it yourself today. My family members all love it. Have stock of 8 pkts of the mee siam paste in my store room for standby for festive occasions and family celebrations.

Wow this is good! I tried to use 1/3 of the paste to do the gravy. Boiled the prawn shells n heads, added a little tamarind juice and it turned out well.
The paste is so convenient and taste is authentic. The recipe has the perfect formula!
