Ingredients:
- 1 pack Nyonyalite Nyonya Laksa Paste
- 500ml water
- 200ml coconut milk
- 200g yellow noodles or thick bee hoon
- 6 prawns, shelled and deveined
- 6 fishballs or fish cakes, sliced
- 1 hard-boiled egg, halved
- A handful of bean sprouts
- Fresh laksa leaves (daun kesum), chopped
Instructions:
- Heat a wok and stir-fry Nyonyalite Nyonya Laksa Paste until fragrant.
- Add 500ml of water, bring to a boil, and stir well to mix evenly.
- Pour in 200ml of coconut milk and stir to combine.
- Add prawns and fishballs/fish cakes, cooking until prawns turn pink.
- In a separate pot, cook noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Place cooked noodles and bean sprouts into serving bowls.
- Ladle the hot laksa broth over the noodles, ensuring an even mix of prawns and fish cakes.
- Garnish with laksa leaves, and a hard-boiled egg if desired.
