Nyonya Food - Simplified

The paste is really tasty. My husband is a Peranakan and had been eating his granny buah keluak dish since young. As I didn’t manage to learn a skill or two from her, my husband missed this particular dish. Hence is very lucky that we manage to find this paste.

The mee siam paste is a gift and it certainly is very appetising as it has the right amount of tangy tone that perks up one's appetite immediately. Really easy to cook and serve with almost zero fuss. It goes so well with a squeeze of limau to complete the whole works! Simply love it! Thank you so much, Justin, for the gift! Will certainly buy more to cook when the craving hits!

Never attempted to cook this dish because I knew how complicated it is - my mother-in-law used to cook it. But now, with the paste, it’s so simple. A friend gave us one, and we tried and found it just great. So, I went online and bought more.

Tried this for the first time for my friends and we all loved it! I used half chicken, marinated with 1 pack first, then another pack for extra sauce. Everything was gone with NOTHING remaining. Damn good buy… super convenient! Will definitely buy again!

The Buah Keluak Paste was tasty. Never of my family ate so happy. They mentioned that the dish taste like restaurants style.

I bought the buak keluak paste with curiosity to see how it matches what i had tasted in my.memory. Not just is it easy to use, it surprises me with its warm, mellow, nutty flavour when the paste was stirred to fry the chicken wings i had bought. The fragrance was at once discernible and simply so satisfiying to the palate! I gifted some of my share to my sister whose grandson gave the thumbs up. Her family including my grown nephew loved it. What is most worthy of note is that it wasnt so sour and bitter as the one i had eaten at a reputable peranakan eating place in Hougang. My true-blue Peranakan aunt used to give us some of her ayam buah keluak when she was still alive. To me, top mark goes to the complex taste which was capably replicated in the Nyonyalite paste. Most importantly, it makes this hard to replicate dish easily available to satisfy one's cravings for a home cooked taste that is almost effortless, even by a helper who does not have an inkling what ayam buah keluak taste like. Thank you so much, Justin, for making it affordable for me to buy one paste at a time!

Very nice and Authentic Paste. Bought 5 packs of Buah Kulak to give away to my friends in Malaysia to try it. Keep up the good and maintain the quality of your products.

Another great paste from nyonya lite. Just add in Chinese mushroom and some potatoes.

To enhance this marvellous paste, I added more buah keluak flesh & lime leaves. My nyonya mother-in-law gave a thumbs up

A delicacy made fuss free! The paste was more on a sweeter side and chilli powder is recommended if u prefer a spicier punch. The taste is flavorful and can be comparable to a restaurant’s standard. Highly recommended!

With so many Laksa variables out there, this one hits the spot ... at least it hits MY right Peranakan spot!
